The Castanea Township Recreation Committee and Fire Co. Station 3 in Clinton County are co-sponsoring a Halloween Parade and Children’s Party on Sunday, October 31st, beginning at 3:00 pm on Brown Street in Castanea.  The parade will proceed onto McElhattan Avenue and end at the fire hall.  A free children’s party featuring a magician will be held at the fire hall.  Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.  Lite refreshments will be served at the fire hall.  Parade organizers are seeking costumed children and their parent(s), costumed and leashed pets, fire trucks, emergency vehicles, decorated classic cars and tractors, floats, bands, twirlers and dancing troupes.  Pre-register your group by contacting Rick Schulze at fschulze@comcast.net.
